Fox's CT Affiliate Airs Boobs B-Roll For International Women's Day - HyperVocal

Surely that’s not why they call it B-roll …

International Women’s Day came and went last Friday, but this clip of Fox’s Connecticut affiliate using B-roll of breasts, zoomed in and framed!, while discussing the local events in celebration of the day will live on forever.

The news anchor’s hesitation while reading the teleprompter makes this clip perfect. You can almost hear her thinking aloud, “…that will be discussing women’s accomplishments … good lord, are we really doing this, assholes in the control room?” This is the most Fox thing ever:

Fox Connecticut released a mea culpa: “The video should never have aired,” the company said in a statement. “FOX CT will publicly apologize on today’s newscasts, as well as through our social media platforms. We are also implementing procedures to keep this from happening in the future.”
